• Who: Participate in interactive sessions from the following organizations:
  • Autism New Jersey will present an overview of the first-of-its-kind state policy initiative designed to advance autism-friendly practices in law enforcement. This presentation will also include an in-depth exploration of judicial best practices for supporting individuals with autism in our Courts.
  • Care Plus NJ and the Bergen County Sheriff's Office will demonstrate how Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training for New Jersey law enforcement can make a meaningful difference for at-risk children, youth and adults with mental illness, their families, and responding officers.

NJ Statewide Student Support Services: In response to a national mental wellness crisis in youth and young adults, the New Jersey Department of Children and Families has proposed to launch a statewide, innovative hub-and-spoke model of services and resources intended to support youth mental wellness and promote prevention initiatives.
